Resetting Kasperskey 2009 or 2010

1)Double click the Kaspersky icon in the system tray to open the kaspersky window. click on 'settings' at the top-right corner of the window.2)Goto 'options' and uncheck 'Enable Self-Defense' checkbox. Apply the changes made.3)Right click on the Kaspersky icon in the system tray and 'exit'.Goto 'Start->Run' and type 'regedit' over there and click 'ok' to open registry window.4)Follow the path:- 'HKEY-LOCAL-MACHINE---->SOFTWARE---->KasperskyLab---->protected---->AVP9*---->environment'.5)Click on 'environment' to view the list of variables on the right side.Search for 'ProductStatus' variable.6)Double click the variable for editing.7)change the string 'Release' to 'Beta'.8)Press 'ok' to save changes.9)Exit from registry window.10)Now start kaspersky.11)Click on the 'license' at the bottom of the window.12)Delete the 'expired' key.13)Now activate trial version again for 30 days.14)Voila!! your kaspersky is active again for next 30 days.*for 2010 or AVP8 for KAV 2009
